Q. How far in advance should I book?
A. Appointment availability can vary depending on demand. We recommend booking 1–2 weeks in advance whenever possible, especially for evenings, weekends, and group events.
Q: Do you require a deposit?
A: Yes. A deposit may be required for large appointments, and event bookings in order to reserve your appointment time.
Q: How do I request an appointment?
A: Appointment requests can be submitted through our online booking request form. Once reviewed, we will contact you with available appointment options.
Q: Are appointments first come, first served?
A: Yes. Appointment times are reserved once all required forms and deposits have been completed.
Q: What services do you offer?
A: SB Mobile Nails specializes in professional in-home manicures, pedicures, natural nail care, and mobile event nail services.
Q: Do you accept same-day appointments?
A: Same-day appointments are occasionally available depending on scheduling, but advance booking is recommended.
Q: Do you offer acrylic, dip powder, or Gel-X nails?
A: No. I focus on natural nail care and do not offer acrylic, dip powder, Gel-X, or artificial nail enhancement services.
Q: Do you offer gel polish?
A: I offer gel color and gel builder services, but no I don't do extensions
Q: What is included in your pedicure services?
A: All pedicures include nail trimming and shaping, cuticle care, exfoliation, heel care, massage, and polish application. The degree and amount of work performed will vary depending on the pedicure services selected and the condition of the feet.
Q: Can I book services for multiple people?
A: Yes. I offer group appointments and event services for parties, bridal events, office wellness events, and other gatherings.
Q: Do you travel to clients’ homes?
A: Yes. SB Mobile Nails is a mobile nail service providing professional nail care in the comfort of your home, office, hotel, or event location. I exclusively provide mobile, in home nail services and do not operate from a traditional salon storefront.
Q: What areas do you service?
A: I proudly serve Santa Barbara and surrounding areas including Montecito, Goleta, and Carpinteria, Ventura and Oxnard. Appointments outside of the main surrounding cities may be available depending on my schedule.
Q: Is there a travel fee?
A: There is no travel fee for appointments located within my main service area between Goleta and Carpinteria. Appointments located outside these services areas may require a travel fee. Any applicable travel fees will always be discussed prior to booking your appointment.
Q: What do I need to provide for my appointment?
A: I bring all professional nail supplies and equipment needed. I simply ask for adequate space, nearby outlets, and access to water when needed.
Q: Do you offer services for parties and events?
A: Yes. We provide mobile nail services for birthdays, bridal parties, corporate events, wellness events, and private gatherings.
Q: Is there a minimum for event bookings?
A: Yes. Event bookings typically require a minimum 2 hour booking time per nail technician.
Q: Can guests choose between manicures and pedicures for event bookings?
A: Yes. Depending on the length of the event setup, guests may choose manicure services, pedicures or a combination of both. Service options and event details are discussed prior to finalizing the event booking to help create the best setup for your event.
Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
A: I accept major credit, cash, Venmo, and Zelle
Q: What is your cancellation policy?
A: Appointment cancellations or rescheduling requests made within the required notice period may be subject to a cancellation fee or deposit forfeiture. You can check out my policy section for more detailed information.
Q: Do you work with seniors or clients with limited mobility?
A: Yes. Mobile services are ideal for clients who prefer the comfort and convenience of receiving nail care at home.
